This end grain cutting board is made from the exotic Hardwood African Padauk. This item is made to order.
These Boards are made to order so the grain pattern and colors in the wood will slightly differ from one board to the next.
Products like this take a little time to build so please be patient… we promise our amazing custom works are worth the short wait!!
All colors in the wood are natural. No dies or stains are used and the wood is joined using food safe wood glue. All boards are sanded to a high finish and treated with an initial coat of food safe mineral oil. All orders come with care instructions. Please allow 2-3 weeks for construction and shipping.
The shipping estimate for this board is set to the largest variation we offer. If you order one of the smaller boards, your shipping will be adjusted at the time it is mailed.
All Listings and pictures are from previous builds. Your purchase will be made to order and we will do our best to replicate the exact look and style from the listing picture. Please understand that we can not replicate the woods' grain so there will be slight variations with the grain pattern.
Listing sizes are approximate. Wood doesn't always cooperate with design plans and can, from time to time, come up short or long 1/8"-1/4". We will do our best to limit the chance of this happening, but it can happen.
Padauk can have a deep dark red color, a more orange tinted red color or even a vibrant red color. However, when the woods end grain becomes wet it will slightly bleed that same red color. This is a natural occurrence with this species of wood. So take special care to clean with disposable paper towels or dark colored hand towels after use.
Return and Refund Policy:
All sales from our store are final. However, because wood naturally moves by expanding and contracting, products such as this can sometimes suffer damage after they're initially built. If this happens to you within the first 5 days after receiving your purchase then please contact us. We will refund you the cost of shipping so you can send the item back to us. We will thoroughly examine the item and if we discern the damage was not due to user missuses or neglect or shipping mishandling we will rebuild the item and ship its replacement to you at no additional cost. No refunds of the items original cost will be issued.
